FFA/FCCLA Dining Hall
Location: Covington, Georgia Dates: October 2016 - Current Description: The Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center in Covington was in need of a new Dining Hall to replace the existing 75 year old dining hall, Sheffer Hall. The new dining hall is being built in the community quadrant of the campus in the heart of the historic area. The new dining hall will be a one and two story building with approximately 22,000 GSF on the lower level and 9,000 GSF on the second level. It will double the current seating capacity to 600. Services Performed: Commissioning is to be incorporated Construction Phase through Warranty Phase. Commissioning began with a detailed review of the drawings and specifications. The specific systems that are being commissioned include Mechanical Systems, HVAC Controls Systems, Plumbing Systems, Electrical Systems,and Building Envelope.
